No one enjoys replacing the water filter in their fridge. It’s one of those tasks that feels a little too complicated for how simple it should be. You dig through drawers for the manual, wrestle with packaging, and wonder if you bought the right one. What if replacing your filter felt as intuitive as swapping the batteries in your TV remote?

"A trip to the local hardware store revealed a major shortcoming of the Frigidaire filter packaging. Opened boxes, product laying all over– it was clear shoppers were struggling to find the right filter for their fridge."
Original packaging.

The old packaging was cluttered and confusing. The front panel looked the same for all filters and contained 3 filter model identifiers, further confusing shoppers.
Updated design.

The updated layout addresses the shoppers' needs at this stage of the purchasing journey. The clearer hierarchy and large product image helps to differentiate between filters.
"Designed to ease the frustration of replacing one's water filter, the packaging prominently features the filter model through clear hierarchy and a large image of the product."
